Camp Life is the Best Life! Let's get your questions answered!
At Happy Paws, cage-free means your dog enjoys freedom, movement, and companionship — not confinement. Instead of kennels, our campers relax on cozy cots and blankets in open, supervised spaces.
This creates a natural, social environment that keeps dogs happy, confident, and stress-free.
Safety is our top priority. Every dog must pass a temperament test and evaluation period before joining the pack. Campers are carefully grouped by size, age, and temperament, and play is monitored by trained staff — our “Pack Leaders” — who are skilled in canine behavior and group management. Our play areas are fully enclosed, sanitized daily, and designed to encourage healthy play while preventing overstimulation.
Yes! We understand that not every camper has the same energy level. Senior dogs or those who prefer a calmer setting enjoy shorter play sessions, frequent rest breaks, and smaller play groups. We tailor activity time to your dog’s comfort level — because every pup deserves the right balance of fun and rest.
4. What is your food policy?
We do not provide “house food.” All campers must bring their own food from home to ensure consistency and prevent upset tummies. Please label containers clearly and include extra food for extended stays or travel delays. We’re happy to administer oral medications at no additional charge (no injections, please).
Feeding time is handled carefully and individually. Each camper is separated during meals to ensure safety and peace while eating. Food is portioned, labeled, and fed according to your instructions — and only your pet receives their own food. We do not use community feeding areas, eliminating any risk of food-related conflicts.
Yes — your dog is never left alone overnight. Our facility is staffed and monitored around the clock. During sleep hours, team members remain on-site to ensure all campers are safe, comfortable, and resting soundly.
If an incident or health concern occurs and we cannot reach you, we will immediately contact your designated veterinarian. If your vet is unavailable, we will take your pet to our trusted emergency veterinary partner or local animal clinic for prompt care. Your pet’s safety always comes first — and we’ll communicate every step as soon as possible.

All dogs must be up-to-date on the following vaccines:
We also strongly recommend Canine Influenza. Proof of vaccination must be submitted and approved before attending daycare, boarding, or grooming.
Our splash pools and regular pool open as soon as the Georgia weather warms up — typically April through September. Summer activities include water play, sprinklers, and tennis ball games to help campers stay cool and active.
